Botswana’s Multi-Billion-Dollar Qatar Investment Framework Moves Into Implementation

Botswana reported on 29 October 2026 that its investment framework with Qatar’s Al Mansour Holdings was progressing through projects including Botswana Airport City and the Serowe Coal Bed Gas Project. The framework is being implemented through project operations and joint ventures rather than a direct government cash deposit. A confirmed total transaction value was not disclosed.
